WWOOF Host #2

We rode two buses today to go from Niseko to Bikuni which is on the coast today.  We walked around Bikuni and had lunch before calling our next host.  These are some of the views we saw and of the Abe Farmhouse.  They have chickens here and many varieties of vegetables. We picked strawberries right away and they tasted so sweet!  I thought I would miss my annual strawberry picking but it looks like we will pick them for sale this weekend. We have a lot to learn about farming  this week. We felt very welcomed right away into this home especially with Puru their dog. Now the girls have a pet as they have been missing Maddie, our dog.  We are here for one week and hope we can help out with a variety of tasks.
